Kestner 171 27" Elizabeth

Elizabeth is a highly collectable 27" JD Kestner 171 with antique brown glass sleep eyes pretty blushed cheeks her bisque is excellent but slight rub on cheek, dark brown human hair wig, open mouth with four upper teeth pink lips and painted accents long dark brown molded gloss brows, and bold angled lashes.

The 171 had a longer thinner face than other Kestners making her a very desirable doll.

The original patina on Elizabeth's ball jointed wood and composition body is excellent with her original red stamp adding to her value. She has a missing finger.

Antique white wear dress with tiny shell buttons to the back of the dress,  antique cotton pantaloons with antique cotton slip white socks and black rexine lace up shoes.

Elizabeth is incised

Made in Germany 171 15 1/2 and 6. On lower neck. She also has a fancy letter L 1/2 to the left side.

The bisque head has been light checked and is free of chips and cracks.
