Florence is a Antique Heinrich Handwerck Simon Halbig 30" 76cm German bisque head antique doll with a composition and wood body. She incised on back of head Germany Heinrich Handwerck Simon Halbig, 6.
This beautiful doll is in original condition with an amazing French antique cotton and lace dress the original owner put on her, there are no undergarments her shoes are leather with reproduction socks.

Florence has her original blonde mohair wig and has the original paint patina to her body with painted accents on her fingers and toes. She has a red Heinrich Handwerck ink stamp on her body.

A fine example of a Heinrich Handwerck doll with original features feathered brows her beautiful brown eyes have original eyelid wax and eyelashes. She has an open mouth with upper teeth and blush painted accents on lips. There is what looks like a surface crack around one finger which is in original intact condition the finger is not loose all other fingers are intact.
Florence was named by her original owner, a lady who owned a business in New York America this antique doll has been in the one family since she was created. We became Florence's foster parents when the daughter of the original owner died with no family to pass her onto. Her condition is exceptional for a doll of this size.

The bisque head has been light checked and is free of chips and cracks.
