Natural Australian Lincoln Sheep Wool with a long staple length over 10" processed by hand, washed scoured, brushed ready to sew into wefts and dye, cleaned ready for making dolls wigs or to fix an existing wig. Lincoln wool produces beautiful wigs, the fibre has a beautiful lustre.

Once the wefts are sewn and you are ready to dye, roll the wefts up and tie both ends with cotton twine and soak in water with a dash of vinegar that is 70 deg C to further scour before dying being careful not to agitate or boil as felting can occur.

When processing Lincoln wool there is a high content of lanolin that is difficult to remove without commercial processing however hand scoured wool retains a small amount of lanolin making it feel softer and easier to sew into wefts.
